  11. FEES Initiation Fee: $125.00 CDN

    Annual Dues – Boat Owner: $150.00 CDN

    Social Member – Non-Boat Owner: $75.00 CDN

  12. Club Activities and Resource

    Be part of a club with more than 45 years of boating history in the British Columbia and Washington State area.

    Our programs includes dinner meetings, cruises, reciprocals and a well organized race program. With more than 80 family memberships and a dedicated Executive and Board, IYC programs and events can add a whole new dimension to your boating and social activity.

    New friends, new experiences and a lot of fun with a group of people who share a common hobby, boating, in one of the most scenic areas in the Pacific Northwest. Cruising: Each year we plan several weekend cruises as well as the annual “Retiree’s Cruise” the second week in June.

    To qualify as a retiree, you simply need to have the time and the desire to go island hopping in the Gulf and San Juan Islands. Both sail and power boats are welcome.

    Social Events:

    Monthly dinner meetings in April, May, June, and September are held at the Peace Arch Park, and in October, November, February and March at Rotary Field House, Surrey. The Commodore’s Ball in November. Opening Day ceremonies and sail past in May. Christmas light parade in December.

  13. Racing:

    A Comprehensive racing program that features a Fall, Winter and Spring race series as well a two open regatta racing weekends.

    Flying and non-flying divisions.

    In addition we organize rules and tactical seminars.

    Reciprocal Yacht Clubs:

    IYC has reciprocal privileges with more than 150 Participating yacht clubs.

    Video Library:

    The IYC has an extensive video library available free of charge to club members.

    Newsletter and Web Site:

    Members receive periodic newsletters and can go to our web site at http://www.iycbc.ca/ for new and information.

    Club Roster:

    Produced annually, the roster lists club members, schedules club activities and a listing of reciprocal yacht clubs.

The International Yacht Club was launched in January of 1958. A group of interested boaters from Washington State and the Province of British Columbia successfully lobbied the Port Commission to provide moorage for pleasure boats in Blaine Harbor.
