Dancing through Dodds Narrows

iycbcca

In the past all boaters were encouraged to make a Securité call on VHF 16 before transiting Dodds Narrows at slack tide for safety purposes. Due to the volume of calls, the coastguard recommends that boaters limit their announcements to only vessels which pose a safety concern to others. Check for traffic on both sides by viewing AIS targets, and listen for Securité announcements on VHF 16. Safe travels

friends.
